Cecily has assisted the firm on a part-time, full-time, and contract basis for over twenty-five (25) years. She earned her Masters in Business Administration degree (MBA), and her Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Legal Studies, magna cum laude, from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. She has experience in the areas of Bankruptcy, Estates, Guardianships, Estate Planning, Domestic Relations, Landlord/Tenant, Corporate, and Litigation at FORBES LAW LLC, Cooper & Forbes Co., LPA, and various downtown Cleveland firms. She also handles scheduling, billing, A/R, A/P, social media, marketing, and website design for the firm. Cecily is a Notary Public for the State of Ohio, is currently serving her 7th term on the Review Board for the Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE), her 8th term on the Ursuline College Alumnae Mentoring Board, and is a member of the following organizations:

Legal Assistant
Heather joined FORBES LAW in June, 2019. She brings 10+ years’ experience in customer support and administrative work to the firm. Heather previously volunteered at the American Red Cross as an Assistant Disaster Supervisor in New Orleans, where she conducted Disaster Assessment by expediting first responders and providing information updates to Red Cross Leads. Heather earned her BS in Healthcare Management in 2012 from Austin Peay State University, and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. She currently serves as our Legal Assistant, and is a Notary Public for the State of Ohio.

Glenn Forbes is the founding member of FORBES LAW LLC, and has been practicing Bankruptcy law for over forty (40) years. After his admission to the Ohio bar, he immediately began practicing Bankruptcy law. Although other types of cases have sent him to the Municipal and Common Pleas Courts, and the United States District Court as well as State and Federal Appeals Courts, Bankruptcy has become a bigger and bigger part of his practice. He has taught Bankruptcy law to paralegal students at Lake Erie College and Lakeland Community College as well as lecturing to lawyers and other professionals in continuing education seminars. He approaches client debt problems in a multi-dimensional fashion, considering not only Bankruptcy options, but also settlement or workout options or, in the appropriate case the “doing nothing” option.
